Thank you! I hope you've enjoyed the time you've spent on my website. I've been able to meet lots of people through music. I wish, with each person, I could share even more about myself than what is audible and perceptible in the music I play. It's true that there's not much I can share in the few fleeting moments after a concert, but, here in cyberspace, I can make up for it!
In my life, there is but one constant—one thing I can rely on, no matter what I'm dealing with, and that's the steadfast love of God through His Son Jesus Christ. When I accepted Christ into my life for good, all the guilt and anxiety I was feeling disappeared. That empty space within me, the one I tried to fill with all kinds of destructive things, was filled. I no longer felt compelled to repeat those same, harmful patterns. Through Him, my sinful, selfish nature was conquered, and, in its place, I found joy, hope, and a new identity. It's not about rules or rituals or religion or political alignment. It is, however, about a relationship with the one who created us, loves us unwaveringly, and can provide for our every need, great or small. In my darkest hours, I've cried out to the Lord and He's
No matter what you've done (or are doing), God loves you. If you're saying to yourself, "I don't know how to pray" or "I wouldn't know where to start in the Bible," you're not alone! I was right there not too long ago. Just give it a chance. If you're ready, your life can change by praying this prayer. "Heavenly Father, I need a change. I need You in my life. I know I'm a sinner, and I ask your forgiveness. Thank you for sending Your son, Jesus, to die for my sins. Thank you for raising Him so that I may have eternal life and joy. I believe this, and I accept you, Jesus, as my Lord and Savior. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen." If you believe what you just prayed, then today, you are indeed born again. It's that simple!
Reading the Bible and finding a strong, Bible-based church home are crucial to developing your personal relationship with God, but, by praying this prayer, you've already made the most important step. One of my favorite Biblical verses is "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."—Philippians 4:13. So can you! I pray that you accept these words with all intended love and humility, and continue to deepen your own personal relationship with God. Believe me, deciding to get to really know Him is the best choice I've ever made!
